Carey Walker

Carey Walker is an architectural designer in Sasaki Associate's Urban Studio. Her passion for the environment has triggered her leadership in Sasaki's Sea Change research and design initiative. Carey received her architecture degree from Syracuse University's School of Architecture where she began her research in climatic design during her thesis year. Her thesis won multiple awards and was on show in Los Angeles after being chosen for a Women in Design Award, as well as at the Gulf Coast Green Competition in Houston. Her Climatecture article was published in the Young Architects Forum Journal which outlines the importance of connecting the built environment to the natural environment.
