Gaslamp or "GLK," is a leading figure in the Los Angeles music community. At his ground-breaking Low End Theory all-ages hip-hop and electronic club, the Gaslamp Killer had a large hand in bringing in a new sound to music. His community-building is very much a big part of the successes of The Glitch Mob, Daedelus, Nosaj Thing and Flying Lotus. What challenges did he face? Who shared the responsibilities among his team? What were someof the greatest failures or triumphs? DigBoston's Marty Caballero goes one on one with Gaslamp Killer. He headlines the Mid East Club later that night, Thursday May 15th.
